Apeks XTX200 regulator
This new flagship regulator from the famous British manufacturer has all the features of the successful ATX200 and TX100, says Apeks Marine Equipment, but with improved performance and enhanced features. The regulator has a pneumatically balanced reversible second-stage valve system that can be set up to be used either left-handed or right-handed, and with either a compact or large exhaust diffuser. The first stage has four standard-size medium-pressure ports and two high-pressure ports. Available in either DIN or A-clamp fitting, the XTX200 costs £ 419 or, with XTX40 octopus rig, £550.

Dive Dude T-Shirts
This new range of T-shirts for both men and women is available by direct mail from Dive Dude's website. There are five different designs and all are in pre-shrunk heavyweight cotton with taped necks and double-stitched seams. They cost £20.

Mares She Dives range
Mares has designed a range of diving equipment exclusively for women. This includes the Kaila BC, which has dual adjustable shoulder straps, the new MRS Plus integrated-weight system and a massive 16.5kg of lift in size S. Plush-lined and with the Mares patented Back Protection System, it is available in sizes XXS to L at £330. To colour-match the BC, special Volo Power fins are available in either full-foot or strap versions (£100) together with the X-Vision mask in a new mid-size (£38) and Streamdry snorkel (£16).

Zeagle ZX DS-V regulator
The DS-V first stage of the Zeagle ZX DS-V is built to allow for a direct airflow which, it is claimed, provides an outstanding performance. Zeagle's conical precision high-pressure valve is said to provide greater reliability and service while improving responsiveness and performance at all breathing rates. The ZX balanced-diaphragm second stage is made using lightweight polymers and has a downstream valve with breathing adjustment and venturi plus/minus controls. It costs £249 in DIN or international A-clamp fitting and is suitable for use with nitrox up to 40%. The Envoy Octopus (not shown) costs £99 from Ocean Dive Europe.

Scubapro T-Sport BCT
The "T" stands for technology. One of Scubapro's new T range of BCs, the T-Sport is aimed at the leisure and travelling diver. Made from 500 denier fabric, it has rotating shoulder buckles for comfortable harness routeing, a Hi-grip foam-padded interior and a stylish hydro-dynamic cut. The BC is fitted with lightweight plastic D-rings and two zippered pockets and costs £239.

Cressi Reaction fins
From the Italian masters of injection-moulding, the new Reaction open-heel fins promise top performance thanks to a blade of varying thickness, a soft elastomer-covered foot-pocket for comfort and standard pinch-clip strap buckles for convenience. Available in four sizes and three colourways, they cost £69 a pair.

UK Sunlight C8 lantern
This lantern comes with a fixed pistol grip and a super-bright 6W LED lamp that Sea & Sea says will run on a set of eight C-cell batteries for more than seven hours. It has a maximum depth rating of 150m, and costs £85.

Mares V42 Proton Metal regulator
This new regulator is said to have the smallest, lightest balanced-diaphragm first stage available. The Mares V42 is paired with the very small Proton Metal second stage and is claimed by its manufacturer to provide highperformance in all diving conditions, suiting it well for use both at home and abroad. £380.

Spartan Pro Dive drysuit
Made in collaboration with those hardy types from the Diving Centre in Tyneside by Spartan Wetsuits, a company with a long diving history, this is a hard-wearing 5.5mm neoprene drysuit in the traditional style. It is pre-bent in all main flex areas for additional comfort and less bulk and has Gates neoprene boots. With Apeks rotating inflation valve and cuff dump, it is available in a range of off-the-peg sizes and costs £545.
