Distributor: Hammond Drysuits 01322 523583.
First Impressions: "It looks tough and fit for the purpose. It's not likely to puncture easily. It has no frills but its material looks unlikely to snag on any wreck. Superficially similar to the suits from Oceanic and Northern Diver."
Material and Construction: Cordura material. All seams look to be double-taped with heavyweight tape. It is reassuringly stitched. The crotch-piece seems well-constructed, stitched and taped. It has a ruched elasticated waistband at the back.
Boots: Neoprene-lined boots.
Zip: Mediumweight.
Seals: Heavy-duty latex conical wrist seals and latex conical neck seal.
Wrist Seal Contact Length: 4.5cm.
Knee Pads: Padded, double-skinned.
Valves: Apeks rotating inflator valve. Low profile auto dump. Gaskets only on the outside.
Notable Other Features: Stitched-in braces with quick-release buckles. A proper pocket with a Velcro-sealed flap and tag with D-ring.
Ease of Dressing: Easy on. Easy off.
In The Water: "A very good suit. Plenty of manoeuvrability with no restriction or air-migration. If you are not a serious "lumphammer" diver, this suit should last you 10 years. My favourite suit from the first test day. Its single pocket is perfectly usable. I would buy this suit. I would recommend it to my brother!"
Approx. Weight: 4.5kg.
