Distributor: Procean 0031 594 580070.
First Impressions: "It smacks of cheapness."
Material and Construction: A diagonal front-zip suit made from waterproof cloth. "Reasonably neatly triple-stitched, glued and taped on the inside." Ruched, elasticated waist.
Boots: A standard "wellie-style" neoprene-lined boot, well taped on and glued.
Zip: Diagonal cross-chest, with protecting flap of extra suit material.
Seals: Conical latex wrist seals with fixed rigid dry-glove connections (you can flood the gloves without flooding the suit.) Bellows-style latex neck seal, taped on the outside only.
Wrist Seal Contact Length: 2cm.
Knee Pads: Double-layered material.
Valves: Sitec rotating inflation-valve. Low-profile auto dump.
Notable Other Features: Braces permanently stitched with one quick-release buckle. Dry-gloves with fixed lining on snap-on, screw-off mountings (optional).
Ease of Dressing: "A taxing business, especially for a self-donning design." George needed a second person to fit the second dry-glove but the gloves came off easily without help after the dive.
In The Water: "Nice and comfortable and no problems whatsoever. I loved the gloves. It was the warmest I have been in 4°C water. I hated the diagonal front zip. If this had a cross-shoulder zip, I would recommend it to any new diver."
Approx. Weight: 4.8kg.
Made-to-Measure?: Yes.
Tested by: George Buxton.
