Material and construction Made of a strong tri-laminate material with a fine weave that feels very smooth on the inside. It has thick and solid stitching. Above-average quality for this type of suit. Boots Average wellie-style boots, with a heel but without a lining. Well glued and with generous amounts of tape covering the seams on the inside. Zip Its standard diagonal front zip has a covering flap held closed by a second heavyweight (non-waterproof) zip. Seals A conical latex neck seal and heavyweight conical wrist seals. "These wrist seals will last for years." Wrist seal contact length 30mm. Knee pads An additional patch of suit material at the knee and shin protects against wear. Valves An Apeks low-profile inflator valve with gasket and a standard auto-dump on the shoulder. Other features There are two double pockets on each thigh the outer pockets have bellows and a zip, but only space for a slate and "loose change"; the inner pockets are unusable under water. The adjustable braces are attached to the anchor point by Fastex clips at the front. Reflective patches. Ease of dressing "It proved very difficult to operate the zip fully without help. I found the double zip arrangement at the front a bit bulky and uncomfortable." In the water "The high-positioned inflator valve pressed uncomfortably on the uppermost part of my sternum.
