Dive fees for Hurghada marine park
Egyptian authorities have introduced an entrance fee of $5 per diver to the marine park area off the popular scuba resort of Hurghada. The area covered is from Fanous in the north, via Erg Somaya and Giftun Drift to the east, to Small Giftun in the south. The western boundary runs south to Abu Munkar and diagonally out to the south of Big Giftun, meaning that all sites around the two Giftun islands are covered by the ruling. Sites not covered include the Arouks, Abu Ramada, Gota and Magawish.
