DIVER MISSING OFF PLYMOUTH COAST
A 41-year-old technical diver was reported missing on Saturday 18 May after failing to surface from a 64m wreck dive close to the Eddystone.
Brixham Coastguard were contacted by the dive boat 'Sea Urchin' after the diver was overdue from the Charlwood - commonly known as the 'glass wreck'. He is reported to be an experienced technical diver from the Birmingham area, he was using open-circuit trimix, and was well equipped for the dive. A search by rescue helicopter and local shipping failed to find him.
