RIB CIRCUMNAVIGATION
Seven small RIBs have completed a circumnavigation of Britain.
The boats, of a maximum 4m in length, departed from Plymouth and returned to the port nine days later after battling winds of up to Force 6 and seas of up to 20ft high on the western legs of their journey.
The event, organised by RIB International magazine, attracted nine entrants but two retired with gear failure.
