SDI COURSES
Scuba Diving International (SDI), a sister company of Technical Diving International (TDI), has launched a series of standard scuba training courses to complement TDI's more advanced technical-diving programmes.
Brett Gilliam, the joint company president in the USA, now claims to have "the most complete programme of certification available through any agency worldwide".
SDI and TDI courses are being run in Britain by UK agent Dave Crockford, who recently left Plymouth's Diving Diseases Research Centre to run the dive training business full-time. Support materials include seven new books for SDI, and revised TDI technical manuals.
