TANYA STREETER SMASHES MENS AND WOMENS NO LIMITS RECORD
Free-diver Tanya Streeter has set a new No Limits world record of 160m in the Turks and Caicos Islands, beating the previous men's record of 154m held by Loic Leferme.
The 29-year-old already holds six free-diving records, but this latest achievement has trounced the world's top male free-divers. She descended to depth on a sled, on a single breath of air,and ascended to the surface assisted by an inflatable balloon.
Tanya is writing an exclusive account of her dive for DIVER magazine and is appearing at the Dive Show in Birmingham on 12 and 13 October.
