$15,000 prizes in Layang Layang photo contest
Layang Layang Island Resort in Malaysia is celebrating 10 years in business by hosting an underwater digital photography competition from 25-31 July
Prizes worth a total of US $15,000 are on offer for winning entries in the Underwater Photo Challenge 2006, from Omega Seamaster Planet Ocean watches to dive trips around the world.
The competition is open to all levels of digital photographer, and entries in the two categories, wide-angle and macro, will be judged by a panel including photographers Stephen Wong and William Tan.
Competitors qualify for a 27% discount on their stay on Layang Layang, which means paying $800 instead of the usual $1095 for seven days at the resort (two sharing) with five meals a day (!) and 12 boat dives. All you have to do is get yourself there - details on the website, www.layanglayang.com
