Lady
Sarah liveaboard stuck on Red Sea reef
A group of German divers
were evacuated from their Red Sea liveaboard Lady Sarah after the
boat became trapped on a coral reef.
A spokeperson for the Sea Serpent fleet which owns Lady Sarah denied
that the boat was sinking. The group of divers onboard, together with
their equipment had been taken off after the boat became wedged on top
of a reef. Unfortunately the attempt to lighten the load does not appear
to have succeeded in refloating the liveaboard.
The Sea Serpent
fleet are represented in the UK by Tony Backhurst, but it appears that Lady Sarah -
which won an award from Tauchen magazine - is not
marketed to UK divers.
