WIN! WIN! WIN!
A £3600 trip for two to the Philippines!
This month we are giving you another chance to enter our competition to win this fabulous prize. It's a new question so, even if you have already entered in the two weeks leading up to 4 July 2012, you can now enter a second time and have two chances to win.
You may well have heard about the diving pleasures of Cebu in the Philippines, and its twin underwater hotspots, Malapascua and Moalboal.
Now UK tour operator ULTIMATE DIVING is offering DIVER and Divernet Xtra readers the chance to win an extraordinary competition prize – 8 nights for 2 people staying at both locations, with all flights, road and ferry transfers, bed & breakfast accommodation and diving included.
Whether you’re into big animals or wrecks, critters or reefs, this is a trip of a lifetime!
If you answer the simple entry question correctly and your name is the one drawn, you and a chosen companion will be flown to the Philippines to spend the first four nights of your holiday on the northern island of Malapascua at Exotic Dive Resort, and enjoy three days’ memorable diving.
Malapascua is famous for its encounters with the rare thresher sharks and giant manta rays of Monad Shoal, but it also offers outstanding reef and wreck-diving, and countless opportunities for underwater photographers.
Exotic Dive Resort was the original resort on Malapascua, established back in 1998. It has a large open restaurant and beach garden, 29 rooms, all with private bath and balcony and either fan or air-conditioning, and a PADI 5* dive centre on site. Diving is from a fleet of banca outrigger dive-boats.
From Malapascua you’ll travel to the south-west of Cebu and another centre of excellence, Magic Island Resort on the Moalboal peninsula.
This is where the celebrated Pescador Island is located and, like Malapascua, Moalboal offers a range of exceptional reef, wall and critter diving – don’t miss the frogfish and pygmy seahorses.
You’ll spend another four nights at Magic Island, including five boat dives. The tranquil resort is set on a tropical hillside, and you can walk straight into the water to enjoy the house reef or board a banca for any of the many nearby dive sites.
There are 10 comfortable cottages with fan cooling and private bathroom and terrace, and the resort has a pool and spa.
